Crafternoons in the Library!
Location (On-campus)
About
We invite you to get crafty in the Library this semester at Crafternoon! This Fall semester, we’ll gather on Mondays between 3-4 p.m. in the Library to build community around interests in DIY, maker culture, handcrafts, sustainability, and upcycling. You’re welcome to bring your own project or use what we have on hand. We’ll also have occasional themed workshops–please let us know if you’re interested in teaching a craft or skill.
Do you have a pile of mending you’ve been meaning to get to? Or a knitting or crochet project you’d like to work on while chatting with a colleague? Or maybe you want to get out that coloring book that you put down a while ago? Let’s work on it together!
We hope to see you at a future Crafternoon. All SMC students, faculty, and staff are welcome.
Craft on,
Margot Hanson and Sarah Vital
